Stillness at the Sanctuary

This unique and inspiring event offers an opportunity to develop mindfulness within the company of rescued and free animals. Open to meditators of any level, or from any tradition. Stillness at the Sanctuary is also an ideal venue to learn about meditation and mindfulness, and is open to beginners.

First time meditators are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes early for a brief instruction in meditation posture and technique. The event includes:

• Seated, guided meditation

• Walking meditation

• Mindfulness applied to simple tasks

• Tea and treats during reflection time
