Volunteer Day: Building the Graze Zone

Our sheep are well loved and care for, but in the current perimeter, there are really no opportunities for them to graze as they are designed to do. We will be encircling a half acre parcel with fencing, that will give them opportunities to graze and explore. This space will allow us to rescue more sheep and several more goats too. Plus, the current sheep paddock can be used to rescue more pigs! It's an avalanche of positive outcomes. We will begin the work day at 9:00, put in 3 hours, and then break for lunch. Those who wish to stay on after lunch are welcome to, but it is not expected. We will serve a simple vegan lunch, and provide drinks and water.

It is recommended tho bring a water bottle, wear a hat with a brim, and dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy shoes are also a good…
