Volunteer Interest
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Rivendell Sanctuary. Please complete the Volunteer Interest Form and we'll be sure to let you know when the sanctuary is open to visitors.

Who is a volunteer?
A volunteer is anyone who, without compensation or expectation of compensation, performs a task under the direction of and on behalf of Rivendell Sanctuary. Volunteers are not employees.

What types of volunteerism is available?
Rivendell has two types of volunteers: one-time volunteers and regular volunteers. One-time volunteers provide services for one-time, one-day projects. Regular volunteers commit to being a part of the sanctuary's operations.

Do I need to volunteer for a certain amount of time?
The time commitment for one-time projects may vary depending upon the project itself. However, we ask that all one-time volunteers are able to commit to a 2- to 4-hour day. For our regular volunteers, we ask that they be able to commit 2-hours, or more, per week.
